Redwood National Forest and Seattle
Julia and I went for about 10 days on a trip to the west coast. We traveled to Chicago so we could catch the Amtrak out to California. I wanted to take the train because driving was not going to be the option (too far for me) and we were going to multiple stops for flying would have been too expensive. This way I could enjoy the sights and spend some time with Julia without too many distractions. I am so pleased with the trip. We stopped off in Colorado and enjoyed time with some family that lives in Loveland. Then we continued to Sacramento, California where I rented an AirBnB and a vehicle to drive to the Redwood National Forest! It was absolutely amazing! The really are very few words. We stayed the night then took Amtrak to Seattle, Washington. We spent 5 days in Seattle exploring the little neighborhoods and eating the local food. Julia and I enjoyed Seattle very much; it felt like home (Nashville at the time) but with amazing public transportation!
