Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls

 On the border of Tennessee and Georgia is a place called Lookout Mountain. It is more touristy than what I like to do but sometimes touristy things can be fun. The walk is simple but beautiful and worth it. It is a quick day trip along with Ruby Falls and everything is family friendly. Lookout Mountain is also dog friendly for those who want to take their pet with. Part of the appeal is different things you can see on a clear day. Our day was very clear so we were able to “see” all seven sights. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference but Julia loved it, we were making memories all day, and we were off technology (except for photography reasons); as a mom, what more could you ask for on a road trip. Ruby Falls is the tallest known underground waterfall in the states and the walk down is just as fun as the final view.
