Driving past on my way to Misfat, this gem was almost missed. It was way too hot to walk around but I will be back for a tour.
I am not too sure what this ruin was but the particular position of it on top of the mountain makes me think that this was the person in charge of safety.
These are Al Ayn’s Beehive Tombs. They are roughly 5000 years old. Don’t worry, they are excavated and gorgeous.

Wadi Damm was a nice morning walk. There hasn’t been rain in over a year here so we had to walk far to see this gem. And it was a refreshing, welcoming, much needed gem
Sulfur Springs
The water is white because of the sediment. My skin felts smooth and moisturized after a lovely dip.
Baobab Trees are my absolute favorite. I was very excited to hear that there is one in Oman close to my home.
I am always so surprised by what can grow in a wadi.
She does not like the ecosystems in standing water so she refused to get in but it was absolutely necessary to get her feet wet.

I am always amazed by the resourcefulness of desert dwelling people. These are aqueducts that have been used for generations.
